Hutchinson Regional Medical Center provides an abundance of resources available not only to employees but also to the public. These resources are meant to be used to fulfill any needs our community may have. One of those resources would be the education department. The education department is the center to many of the resources provided by Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Education helps sponsor and inform the public about upcoming events and additional information or questions the public may have about an event.
The education department at the hospital is open for questions, learning opportunities, and added resources. American Heart Classes including, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life (PALS) are some of the offered classes taught by the employees in education.

The tunnels, located in the basement of Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, are available for walking and shelter from severe weather.
The gift shop is available to the public and visitors of the hospital.
Prenatal classes provided by the Reno county Perinatal Coalition is a great opportunity for new mothers and fathers to meet other families, have questions answered and to learn more about "Becoming a Mom". These classes are for all Reno County patients at no cost.
Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System provides a variety of support groups ranging from severe illness to information about staying healthy. These groups meet at various locations in Hutchinson to discuss and answer any questions people may have.
First Course is a free information opportunity put on by the Hutchinson Regional HealthCare System for the public. This program invites local physicians to come and speak about important health issues and answer questions concerning that topic.
Diabetic support group meets the first Thursday of the month in the conference rooms of the basement. Any diabetic or family member may attend at no cost. The support group includes educational topics and guest speakers.
Hutchinson Regional Academy is a program for high school students interested in exploring the health field. During the summer each of these students gets the opportunity to work in a variety of departments within the hospital such as Surgery, Nursing Departments, Lab, and Cardiology.
