You may be suffering from a pollen allergy like allergic rhinitis or hay fever. These allergies to typically flair up in the fall.
Like all allergies this is a glitch in your immune system instead of attacking the harmful foreign substances such as bacteria and viruses it neutralizes the invaders and makes you miserable.
Here are three things you can do to ease your pain:
- Make your home pollen free. This includes vacuuming daily and using a HEPA filter and running your air conditioner to help remove the moisture from your air in your home.
- Wear a mask when you go outside.
- Wash your hands and face regularly to help reduce the amount of pollen on your body after you have been outside.
