Hospice & HomeCare of Reno County offers free education opportunities for those desiring to learn more about health, home care and hospice services. Our curriculum is open to all medical professionals and community organizations. We specialize in teaching nursing home and physician office staff. A few of the topics we offer are Advance Care Planning, Hospice Basics, HomeCare Basics, Physical Therapy 101, and Spirituality at the End-of-Life. This list is not all inclusive. Hospice & HomeCare of Reno County continues to sponsor an annual Education Forum to provide information and education to the general public about important health care topics. The opioid crisis and advanced care planning are two topics that continue to be publicized on a regular basis. Our hope is to provide you with information in order to be a more effective caregiver in the home, work place and community. Participants have the choice of attending a morning platform in our Hutchinson office in the Trade Center Conference Room, 1600 N. Lorraine or the afternoon platform in McPherson at the Cedars Conference Center, 1021 Cedars Drive on Friday, October 27. Registration is FREE. The Deadline is October 23.
