November 11 is Veterans’ Day, a century old observance established to pay tribute to those who served in our nation’s armed forces. A number of our employees are veterans and have served in times of war and peace. Many remain active in the National Guard or in the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Reserves.
You may have noticed a “Veterans Dedication Wall” outside the hospital cafeteria. Veterans are invited to bring their favorite photo between now and November 16 for display on the wall. Please place your name and contact information on the back so the photo can be returned. Also, please feel free to post a picture of a loved to the wall as a way to say thanks for their service. Please contact Cheryl Gonsalves at extension 3869 should you have questions or need additional information on this special recognition.
We cannot thank our veterans enough for their service in preserving our freedom and our Democratic way of life, but the Veteran’s Dedication Wall is one way to do so.
