The creamy peanut butter and bananas offer a divine taste to just plain waffles, making it a family favorite breakfast.

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups of 2% milk
  • 1 cup of ripened bananas, mashed

In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, combine peanut butter and canola oil gradually. Whisk in eggs and milk into dry ingredients, stir until moistened, then mix in bananas. Bake waffles in waffle iron until golden brown.
