At Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, our uniquely designed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a circular 25,000 square-foot extension of the main hospital, offering the most advanced medical technology and impressive patient comfort and care.
You may visit friends and loved ones in the ICU 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We ask that you respect the privacy of other patients and family members by stepping out to the waiting area during shift change reporting times from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitors may return to the patient’s room immediately following the completion of reports.
We continue to invest in technology for greater patient care. Our $2 million Siemens Magnetom Aera 48 Coil 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner is capable of producing incredibly high-resolution images of internal organs — particularly the heart, intestines, and prostate — aiding in accurate diagnosis and treatment.
If you or a loved one is in need of intensive care, please know that the highly skilled and compassionate staff at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is here to help. We treat the following serious conditions and diseases:
