ASIST is a two-day interactive workshop that prepares caregivers to provide life-assisting suicide intervention using the Pathway for Assisting Life (PAL) model.
ASIST-trained caregivers help those with thoughts of suicide feel less suicidal and more hopeful.
ASIST is appropriate for anyone age 16 or older. Many professional caregivers use the PAL model, but it is open to members of the general public.

ASIST provides a unique intervention model to help contribute to the development of suicide-safer resources in their communities. In addition to the priceless value of saving lives through suicide counseling and prevention, research also shows that ASIST provides long-term financial benefit to communities.
