As a locally owned community hospital, Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality medical care to tens of thousands of our neighbors. If you find yourself admitted to the hospital, it’s our goal to make you feel like the only one in our care. The following information will help you and your primary caregiver(s) make your stay as positive as it can be.

In-Hospital Calls:
Dial the last four digits only.
Local Calls
To make a local call from a patient room, dial “9” for an outside line. There is no charge for local calls.
Long-Distance Calls:
To make a long-distance call, dial “0” to reach the operator. All toll or long-distance calls must be made collect or with a credit card and cannot be placed on your hospital bill.

Wireless Access — WIFI is available as a courtesy to our patients and visitors. This service is easy, does not require any hospital staff intervention and is provided free of charge.
Personal care items such as contact lenses, eyeglasses, hearing aids, and dentures can be stored in your bedside stand when not in use. To help avoid damage or loss, please do not put them on your bed or food tray. Leave valuables like jewelry or cash at home or give them to a trusted relative or friend to take home. Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is not responsible for replacing personal belongings.
During each nursing shift change the outgoing nurse will introduce the incoming nurse. The team will update the patient and family about the patient’s progress, medicine being given, and any tests scheduled for the day. This is a good time for the patient, family, or patient advocates to ask questions.
At Hutchinson Regional, every patient, family member or friend is a guest. Guest Relations is designed to create positive experiences for all of our guests. Your satisfaction and quality of care are our top priorities. The Guest Relations staff is available to discuss any requests and/or questions you may have at 620-513-3866.
Our goal is to provide the best quality of care. If you have any questions or concerns about your care, please speak with your nurse or nursing supervisor. If they are not able to resolve your issue or grievance, please contact the Patient Care Supervisor at 620-513-3545.
