Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System Announces New Director of Marketing and Communications

Brittney Weis has been named Director of Marketing and Communications for Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System (HRHS.) Weis is a tenured marketing and communications leader who will oversee internal, external, and strategic communications for the health system, while also focusing on marketing and branding.

As a native Kansan, she is a graduate of Wichita State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management and community development. Weis will be transitioning from her most recent role as director of marketing and engagement at Hunter Health, where she led communications and an organizational brand refresh for the past two years.

Recently, she was named an honoree in the Wichita Business Journals’ 2022 Marketing Awards and was recognized in the Wichita Business Journals’ 2021 Women Who Lead: Marketing and Communications.

Ken Johnson, President and CEO of Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System, said that with the addition of new services and providers, the need to communicate our message has never been greater. “In seven short years since graduating from Wichita State University, Brittney has distinguished herself in positions which prepare her for leading our communications and marketing efforts at Hutchinson Regional. I am confident that Brittney will have an immediate impact on our marketing efforts and our ability to expand our efforts in serving current and future patients.” Johnson said.
